The Opportunity
A Milan-based role at a bank with a genuine and growing Italian franchise. This is not a greenfield mandate — the bank has an existing Italian client base and wants to strengthen it at the senior level.
The right profile has spent the majority of a private banking career managing Italian HNW and UHNW clients and entrepreneurs, understands the regulatory environment on both sides of the border, and operates at the level of wealth structuring, succession and multi-generational planning.
A three-year average portable book of CHF 180M is the minimum. The hiring institution is in the process of upgrading its Italian presence from a representative office to a fully licensed advisory operation — a significant platform commitment that opens meaningful long-term opportunities for a senior banker building a serious Italian franchise. Italian fluency is mandatory. The role is Milan-based; remote coverage is not an option.
